PrimalScript 4.1 is several years old and not certified to run under Windows 7 or Windows Vista. For Windows 7 compatibility you would need to upgrade to PrimalScript 2009.

You may be able to avoid some problems by running PrimalScript 4.1 in XP compatibility mode, but even that is not guaranteed.

I moved to a new OS and I have 2 problems.

1. Windows 7 is having trust issues with 4.1.  Keeps prompting to accept the software running.

2.  I created a short cut on the quick links bar and it is almost like it can't find the attached icon to the primalscript program.  The program runs, with prompting, but it will run...

Also, I don't want to turn off the asking for all programs.

Thanks for getting back to me I can try and re-direct this location for the service account that runs the scripted ftp. This way when the ftp.dll randomly leave thes ftp'd data in the temporary location it won't cause so many problems (5 gb of extra files on the system drive at random is not desirable)

The script that I wrote copies files from a UNIX server to a Windows Servers. In testing with the user we notice file size differences between files I copied with a ftp GUI client in ascii mode and the files copied with the script.
